Writing and Reading will we will integrated with our topic for this week : Project Jonah
In Maths we will revise strategies and complete incomplete work.
For Art we will make decorations for our christmas tree. Students will take it home when school closes for the holiday.
Our Topic is Project Jonah. Project Jonah is an organisation that cares for whales who are stranded or need rescue. They advocate for respect and protection of marine animals.

This term is going to be very busy as well with learning conferences in week 4, Cultural evening, Cross Country and H- factor to name a few.

decided to make this a project for the rest of the year. We don't know where, or how far we'll be
going with this, but I think it will be time well spend.

This week’s Home Learning:
Basic facts
Please use the links on our Class Blog to practice basic
facts at home:
Spelling
1. Ten words chosen by your child. Words are selected from
the essential / Commonly misspelt word list or their own writing.
2. Students use at least 3 of these words in sentences to
show their understanding.
3. Testing on Friday.
Students need to read at home for at least 20 minutes.
Please initial your child’s Reading log.
Please return the Home Learning Book on Friday.

Please ensure
that all clothing and stationery are
labelled.

We have
started to learn how to use Google Docs. All students now have Google
accounts and have received their email addresses. The email address must be
used for school purposes only.
·
Students are
able to access their Maths Buddy account at home. The trail period have been
extended until the end of term 3, after which we will be welcoming your
feedback.
